Life is like a box of chocolates and i just grabbed the toothpaste filled one.

So yeah... lately God has been showing me how much farther I have to go. Which is a good thing. I was getting sorta complacent. I haven't cracked my Bible in who knows when, and as for talking, lets just say that me and God are due for a date. It's frustrating to know that I'm still not perfect, but it does give me something to shoot for.

So yeah basically this is simply to say: I am not perfect. I need to grow and move.

New stuff

Well not too much has happened in this period of silence. Just school and work mainly. Not very interesting.

However, in the past 4 or so hours I have decided that I will be writing a novel this month. November is National Novel Writing Month and a friend of mine was talking about it a while ago so I started thinking tonight that it would be pretty cool if I could have a novel to my name. There is an organization for people who feel like participating in writing a novel this month. The point is not to make a pretty piece of prose but instead to get the majority of the work done. they encourage quantity not quality. The goal is to write a 175 page or 50,000 word novel in one month. I think this is a good thing because the hardest part of writing a book is actually writing it. If you can get 175 pages in a month you can take the rest of the year to make sure those pages are amazing. I think it's going to be a pretty interesting month. We'll see how this thing goes. Maybe I'll make this an annual thing. Well if anyone wants to join in just let me know and maybe we can swap ideas and plots off of eachother. Be aware that it is the 4th of november already and it needs to be done by the 30th. You can submit it at the site and they award little prizes (cirtificates of recognition and stuff like that) if you finish. And other people can read your book.

Wow

Well It's been another month and still, not much has happened. I'm sorry I'm posting so infrequently but I just don't have much to post about. I go to work come home eat and then sleep and do it over again. Not very interesting.

Apple is an amazing company. I'm just saying.

Well School starts in two days and I still don't think I"m ready. This past week has been awesome because I've gotten to see some of my best friends (college and high school) and things are getting back to this weird state that many people call "normal". I don't know I'm just happy that I get to see all my awesome friends pretty much whenever I want to. It's nice.

Wow is it that time already!!!??

Well another month (or two) has come and gone, and all I have to show for it are a couple hundred hours of work, one paycheck, one vacation, and a lot of sleep.

Really nothing has happened.

I did get to play Rock Band today and a week or two ago. It was fun.

Hiya

Well I figure it's time for another post, having almost been a month since my last one. Sorry about leaving you in suspense for so long. Well I have once again done it. I passed my classes and pulled a 3.0 cumulative GPA. That is all that is required so I'm happy with it. I cannot describe my joy at being done with school for another summer. I need the break. The last month and a half of school was a killer. For the last week and a half I was routinely going to bed around 3am and waking up at 7am. It wears on you. I am happy to announce that in the last two weeks I have not slept less than 9 hours a night and if feels so good.

Not much has happened or will happen over the summer. I am hoping to get a job (aka signing my soul away) at starbuck's over the summer and then continue through the semester. Other than that I'll most likely be sleeping and hanging out with my friends. Should be a fairly lazy/work-filled summer. I'm happy.

End of the night

Well I just got done pulling an all nighter. Zero sleep. The night before I got 2 hours with a 2hour nap. So I'm gettin ready to start my next set of 24 hours with 4 hours of sleep under my belt. Wonderful. I'm really exausted but can't stop now. I gotta be at work in 20 min. It's 7:40am. and all I want to do is sleep. At least the paper is done. Now for the Project. And that other paper. and that book I have to read. I hate the last few weeks of class.

In Sight

Well here we are once again. Months and weeks have come and gone and once again I stand on the brink of exam week. This year held some other interesting things though. I've had some crazy professors hold onto tests till these last three weeks before exam week. I have a couple papers and presentations as well as another book to read. But all in all I'm excited about the prospect of being done. Of course I don't mean done for good. I have another three years of this to look forward to. But I am definately ready for some rest and relaxation. Unfortunatly all i have to look forward to this summer is working hard enough to make up for all the money I spent this year and prepare for the expenses of next year. And I have to spend the summer away from Jess.

But I'll make it through somehow.
